Innovative by design

Elizabeth Angel, a scientist and inventor with a background in health tech and humanitarian work; and Dr Olivia Lesslar, an Australian medical doctor specializing in psychoneuroimmunology, teamed up in 2022 at a conference in the Finnish forest, known for being the community where a USD 11bn health tech brand was initially launched.

Between 2023 and 2024 they went around the world covering 2,000+ tech and health events and scouting through 2.7 million startups, tools and technologies in search of how to solve the global health crisis. Today that work is WellnessOS, used on six continents.

01Why are you called Agora?

In ancient Greece, from the 8th century BC, the agora was the 'gathering place': the heart of the city, where sport, art, trade, friendship, faith and politics all met.

We gather people the same way. Doctors, scientists, researchers, investors, founders, artists, producers and technologists meet in one place, so that ideas and technologies that would never cross paths can find each other. What unites us is one commitment: to uplift humanity.

02Who is this community for?

We welcome everyone who is willing to take 100% responsibility for their own life experience, and see themselves and their consciousness as the source of reality. From that empowered place, we are able to collaborate for the betterment of humanity in a fun and joyful way.

03What makes Agora different?

The range. Our community spans health, music, defense, nuclear and many fields in between, so the right introduction is usually one conversation away.

04Who is behind this initiative?

Dr Olivia Lesslar and Elizabeth Angel started Agora with pop-up events across four continents in 2023. Since then it has grown a life of its own, carried by many friends and contributors.

05How do you work with partners and sponsors?

In many ways. We host wellness lounges and events alongside major conferences, run scientific research projects, and support startups, pilots and humanitarian initiatives. Partners can sponsor a lounge, bring WellnessOS to their people, or build something new with us. Tell us what you have in mind and we will find the right fit.

06What is WellnessOS?

WellnessOS is our own platform: your wellness operating system. It brings what we have learned from the technologies, research and people across Agora into one personal, gamified path to better health. Visit wellnessos.com.
